It's been a while since we've posted. But what better way to get all caught up than to do it with one of the biggest trash-talking heroes from the #Blaxspoitation era of the 1970s -- Dolemite.
In case you didn't know, Eddie Murphy's new movie, DOLEMITE IS MY NAME, has debuted on Netflix -- and it's great! As always, mega-talented Eddie Murphy has immersed himself into the late Rudy Ray Moore's alter-ego, Dolemite. Eddie takes viewers from Rudy's early days trying to break into music, to the moment he becomes a national success with the release of his first Dolemite movie.
We won't spoil the film for you if you haven't already seen it. We encourage you to enjoy the trailer here, and then hurry over to Netflix and let yourself be transported back to the 1970s and the days of the African American hero.
